Iraqi shoe-thrower Muntazer al-Zaidi 'was waterboarded'

The Iraqi television reporter jailed for throwing his shoes at George W Bush was finally freed today and said that he had been subjected to electric shocks and even waterboarding while in custody.
-----------
But...what did they want him to confess? The name of the shoe shop where he bought his pair from?

  1. "...considered grave insults in the Arab world."  Shoe throwing,  however in the rest of the world it is a term of endearment...

    They tortured because they could,  and if they will torture such a high profile figure,  it means they will torture anyone.  It is the gift from the USA that keeps on giving.

  2. v, you better have proof against the ISOF (Iraqi Special Operations Forces) before you imply things about them.

  3. The CIA line is clear - no torture.
    Where's my apology, dog turd?

  4. Jemmy, are you implying that the ISOF behaved inappropriately? Prove it. {Unfortunately, there are some in the CIA and among you Brits who don't like ISOF. TOUGH!}

    Too bad many in the CIA are similar to you Brits. Many of them (CIA and you Brits) were in bed with extremists (Mujahadin, ISI, Saudis) in the 1980s. Many in the CIA (along with you Brits) are still manipulated by Saudi and ISI information operations. You are a manifestation of that manipulation with your shady implied support for Taliban associated attacks against the Afghan National Army and GIRoA.

  5. Let me guess, Jemmy do you have a secret man crush on Haqqani? You know who Haqqani is (don't deny it.) The LWJ reported being informed by US government sources that half of all US drone strikes inside Pakistan were against Haqqani. Haqqani is also the largest threat against the ANA, ANP, ISAF and Afghans in Eastern Afghanistan (not so much in the South, which is more "local Taliban.")

    This Haqqani was backed by you Brits in the 1980s (some Afghans fear you Brits might still be backing him.) Haqqani might have attacked Mumbai last year, and the Indian embassy in Kabul in 2007. {Small smile perk up when you read that Jemmy?} This Haqqani has been behind many terrorist attacks against civilians in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the former Soviet Union. He is almost certainly planning terrorist attacks against Europe as we speak.

    It is amazing that Jemmy and many fellow Brits of his support Haqqani attacking the ANA (I assume that Jemmy has the decency of opposing Haqqani terrorist attacks against Afghan civilians); when the vast majority of Afghans hate Haqqani; and when Haqqani is commited to blowing the bejeezuz out of the Brits and forcibly converting them.

    Do you really think that Haqqani will spare you Jemmy, because you implicitly semi back him? The ANA is saving your Keister by fighting him. This must be why you support violent attacks against the ANA.

  6. How about this little shit (anan),  the perponderance of the proof is on you for two reasons.  1). It is the words of someone who claims to have been tortured,  and it has already been admitted that he was sent to check medically for what he suffered;

    "...Mr al-Zaidi was due to undergo medical checks at al-Baghdadia’s offices."

     2). Most important,  is that there have been piles and piles of torture in this country since the war,  thousands of bodies dumped with various forms of torture - by those who hold the seat of power currentlyas well as others.  So the burden of proof is on you little creep,  because the entire scenario there is soaked in this activity.

    So try to work your convoluted shit on someone else about proof fucker,  apparently you know zero about any form of argument,  and you ignore the whole context of the region.

  7. V, I admire the ISOF. They are the best special forces in the middle east. I don't like pretentious westeners insulting the ISOF without evidence.

    How many European special forces are as good quality as the Iraqi Special Operations Forces? Hmmm. Might be some jealousy behind why so many Westerners are pushing stories that the ISOF tortures.

    V, has it ever occured to you that Zaidi might be lying about the ISOF in an effort to win sympathy from the global press?

  8. You really are a treacherous snake, bahinchot, biting the hand that signs the cheques. Are you a double agent? The CIA will strike you off the payroll if go off message.
    Haqqani, Haqqani my tochus. Stop the drivel and retract the slander, you weasel.

  9. Anand,  I do not care if you admire rabid monkeys,  that is about as close as it gets to the ISOF - or,  to the body guards of those in power.  You are a stupid putz,  a regular supporter of oppression and war,  one can only hope that some day you are caught in the crosshairs of the "finest" you so willingly support.

    Your infatuation with the military and the uniform is immature if not childish..Is it enough for a military corpse to be good to gain your admiration? Kryste man! The German special forces and the SS were the best in the world. Do you admire them too?
