The “shadowy” & “confrontational” forces of Bahraini democracy run for cover from tear gas at a protest on February 12, 2013. As in all of the Arab uprisings, women & youth have played a central part--many have been arrested, tortured, & died. Our fullest respect & solidarity with them.
