A devil's victory

Romney romps to a primary victory in the US state of Wisconsin. In a thunderous rebuttal of the half-wit, Santorum, 25 voters in the cheese state voted for Romney. Exit polls showed most Romney supporters thought they were showing up for a barn dance & when it turned out to be an election, they just pulled whatever lever would end it all the quickest. There’s nothing to be alarmed about here. My Wisconsin grandmother swore the devil once showed up at a barn dance in Eau Claire. They didn’t know it was Satan until after he left & they recalled his hoofs & foul smell. In the case of Romney & Santorum, the foul smell preceded them. So most voters stayed indoors & stores report a record sales of air deodorizers.

    I guess mary thinks she is engaging in humorous hyperbole. But it comes across as extreme bitterness and deep seated rage. not sure too many folks will find that an attractive narrative to follow.

    The world is messed up Mary. We all know that. Always has been, always will be. Vilifying and mocking anyone except the desperately disadvantaged is not a great strategy. Most people do the best they can. And that often means worrying mostly about their own condition, and that of their close friends and family. Id hardly call that evil or stupid, as you seem to.
