Emancipation US-style: so while Obama is being feted as “Person of the Year,” more than 2 million Afghans are homeless, identified as “internally displaced persons.”  And of course, displaced by the US-NATO occupation. They face a brutal winter, disease, & malnutrition. Here is one of the homeless women liberated by the US Marines. The UN & several so-called humanitarian agencies have warned that international fund appeals have fallen on deaf ears. Well billions of dollars in humanitarian aid have allegedly poured into Afghanistan for the past 11 years but remarkably there is little to show for it. Imagine that the thieving Red Cross is the only agency to show actual aid in the hospitals they’ve set up for amputees. Has the pledged money never actually arrived? Is there a grand heist here!? Is there no accountability for billions of dollars!? Because the military arsenal in trillions of dollars is having no problem at all in getting to its destination.
