The truth of US aid to Haiti

So after all the laudations & baloney slung by the Clintons & their entourage of predators over the $300 million Caracol Industrial Park, here’s the real story: a woman in Port-au-Prince, Haiti grieves as her tent is flooded & pummeled by the deluge of Hurricane Sandy. She is one of almost one million Haitians still homeless after the January 2010 earthquake--nearly three years ago. The US has yet to build or repair a single home. Of the thousands of NGOs operating in Haiti, none has raised a public objection to the plunder--demonstrating that they more often play the role of facilitators of colonialism than ‘saviors to the poor’ as they pretend. Haitians have a proud political history as the first people to fight colonization & set up a Black republic in the western hemisphere. They don’t need saviors; they need our solidarity which means standing up against the US & its allied predators in Haiti. Haiti for the Haitians! (Photo by Dieu Nalio Chery/AP)
