Afghan boy rescues puppy

This little guy is 5-year-old Samiullah Afsar, an Afghan refugee living in a slum on the outskirts of Islamabad, Pakistan. He’s beaming from ear to ear since he rescued this puppy from a pile of garbage yesterday. Bless their little hearts! (Photo by Muhammed Muheisen/AP)
