The young face of immigration
The face of immigration: a frightened little girl traveling north to the US border sleeps over at a shelter for migrants run by a Catholic priest in Ixtepec, Oaxaca state, Mexico. The next leg of the perilous over 1,000 mile journey involves hopping on & off moving trains, avoiding assault, injury, starvation, dehydration, murder. That is the criminal face of US & Mexican immigration policy which must be opposed & changed. She is a human being, not a beast. It is time for a world without borders & visas.
