Betty Windsor tips her hat

Isn’t Betty looking spiffy here!? Like a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s court. And just so damn out of place. They used to brag the US had no feudal past but you sure wouldn’t know that from the courtly goings-on at the White House or all the deference paid to movie stars. Betty didn’t give her “annus horribilis” speech this time; instead she praised the anus horribilis sitting behind her. She said Phil was her “constant strength & guide” over the decades.
