I was puzzled how a couch campaign could gather such numbers of indignants in only a few days when the antiwar movement has worked tirelessly for years with less success to mobilize against genocidal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and against bombing in Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen--and soon Africa. Then I remembered this is all a Hollywood production, a propaganda stunt, a mise en scène to promote war by drawing on people's compassion and good hearts but complete ignorance about Africa, it's people, and it's politics.
