Nablus – Ma’an – Dozens of Israeli settlers set fire to more than 25 dunums (25,000 square meters) of wheat fields owned by Palestinians from the village of Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya.
Settlers in the Nablus area have increased attacks on Palestinians in recent weeks, angered over the Israeli government’s decision to crack down on unauthorized settler outposts.
If you read early settler history in America you will find that the colonials did the same thing to the indigenous population, burned their crops and destroyed their villages. In fact they like to time the burning of the crops before winter so that they did not have time to plant. The activity in Israel reads like the reading of the colonial playbook of what happened in early American colonial times, and what the and what the French, English and Spanish did previously.
