Human rights advocates won't let Israeli ballet dance around apartheid

The U.S. tour of the Israel Ballet, the latest in the Israeli government's efforts to "rebrand Israel" by whitewashing human rights violations against Palestinians, has been met with protests and boycott calls organized by human rights advocates.

The call to boycott the Israel Ballet, which is funded by the Israeli government and is part of an intentional effort to draw attention away from Israeli war crimes, occupation, and apartheid, has been endorsed by the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation and member groups Adalah-NY, American Jews for a Just Peace, and the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, as well the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel and Boycott! Supporting the Palestinian BDS Call from Within.
