ReplyDeleteI saw part of Netanyahu's statement. I liked that he supported a Palestinian state, but was very offended by the following conditions on a Palestinian state:
1) the Palestinian state be demilitarized (the Palestinians need capable security forces to defend themselves)
2) that all of Jerusalem remain in Israel (this is illegal according to every country on earth; it is even illegal under Israeli law)
3) No right of return to Israel proper (Israel would greatly benefit from Palestinian immigration of knowledge workers into Israel proper. I find the idea that immigrants are determined on the basis of race, ethnicity and faith . . . well bigoted.)
