Can anyone guess why I am making this post?

Child Abuse Spikes As U.S. Economy Flounders
One 4-month-old baby was shaken so violently she needed surgery. Another 3-week-old suffered fractured ribs from abuse at home. A 9-year-old diabetic boy stopped receiving proper treatment for his condition. Those cases reported by Boston hospitals are part of a spike in child abuse in United States during a recession that has driven some families to the brink and overwhelmed cash-strapped child-protection agencies.

  1. Exactly. Put a society under severe stress, and all the cracks in its foundation will show. This is what I find most hypocritical of all those who try to justify the occupation of Iraq by deflecting attention from US imperial crimes towards the ensuing sectarian violence. I mean, let's imagine for a moment something similar happening to the US. Let's say a superpower from outerspace invades the US and reduces the entire nation to rubble. Let's say that this invading entity knows a few things about Macchiavellian plotting, and blatantly favors one ethnic/racial group over the rest while abandoning the native civilian population entirely to its own fate, and concentrating only upon protecting its own military forces and infrastructure. Wouldn't this lead to brutal internecine fighting between different native factions? Those opposing the invasion slaughtering those allied with invaders and viceversa?

BTW, there has been a dramatic resurgence of violence in Iraq in recent weeks. Shouldn't we have a couple of posts on this?

  2. you fucking moron.

the more apt explanation ... is that, at the first sign of trouble,

NIGGERS (whether magians or bostonians) BEGIN TO TAKE IT OUT ON THEIR CHILDREN.

this is why they're niggers. like you, moy. how, at the first sign of intellectual distress and feeings of intellectual insecurity (very common with you), you immediately spaz off into your hacky, half-digested "patriarcho-fascistico-imperialistico" BULLSHIT.

also, you ... fucking ... moron, we had a little something called THE CIVIL WAR 150 years ago (fought partially for niggers), and we went on to a fair amount of success after that. so successful, in fact, that we can indirectly support lives as fucking worthless as yours.

  4. Saif did you post it to show how hypocritical Americans are when they talk about abuse and domestic violence in the Middle East?
Anyone with a dime sized brain knows that as poverty is on the rise so is violence against the family. Yet somehow when poor Muslims or Arabs are concerned they are just called primitive and we hear about how this is all the Koran's fault.

  7. all sorts of abuse...

(AP) A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to three weeks in jail for urinating on a 66-year-old woman during a Continental Airlines flight last month from Los Angeles to Honolulu. Jerome Kenneth Kingzio, a resident of the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, was sentenced after pleading guilty Tuesday to assault charges in federal court in Honolulu.

The victim was headed to Hawaii on March 21 for a scuba diving vacation and was watching an in-flight movie when Kingzio stood up and began urinating on her. He had been drinking on the flight.

U.S. Attorney Edward Kubo Jr. said the woman reported that not only was her entire vacation ruined, but she continues to suffer emotionally from the incident.

The case was investigated by the FBI.

  8. Yes, Anon1, me, too. My point was that when times are tough, the weak suffer. Children, women and animals.

I certainly do place more value on the poor animals than on humanoids like the settlers and I hope you do as well!

  10. "Saif did you post it to show how hypocritical Americans are when they talk about abuse and domestic violence in the Middle East?"

I posted it to show that not only Muslims do things like beat children and there wives because some times I have the feeling that Americans believe they are the Most Civilised and the Most Humane and the Most Gentle.
When the American people do those things the media is always taking the time and care to say "these things get done because the economy makes people upset" but when I hear those same media outlets talk about this kind of violence in the Arab countries they never mention the economic reasons why "those" people do "those" things.
For the American mind beating your wife and your children is the 100 percent natural thing for an Arab and a Muslim person thing to do. It can never have to do with Economic Troubles, living in Dictatorships and being always in fear, or with Living Under Occupation.
Instead with Americans it is always because Arabs and Muslims are backwards and they come from backwards societies and because they think this is what the Quran teaches Muslims.

A mouse has more value than those criminal settlers.

  12. You posted it to point out that Americans are not aware or organized enough to direct their anger and frustration at those in power who are responsible for their problems but instead mete it out to those weaker than themselves. The boss hollers at you, you go home an kick the dog. Or beat your wife, or kids. It's probably not just Americans, but seems like other people around the world are taking it to the streets.

Yes, I'm distressed about the animals too. Not more so than about the children, women and men. Yeah, the men too!!

  13. Maybe Saif was trying to remind some posters that the United States has more than enough social issues of their own that we haven't been able to solve. We haven't been able to protect American citizens from each other, so maybe we shouldn't be spending so much time fixating on social issues halfway around the world. Even if another country was able to forget about all the plunder and killing in the past and was to say, "Please, help us learn how to live together peacefully", we wouldn't know how to do it, because we haven't been able to do it here. Also, these problems are not limited to one particular culture, but unfortunately cross national borders.

LOL, indeed I do. There are several alleged "human beings" whom nobody in the world would miss, and whose disappearance would be a blessing...but animals are truly innocent. Give me a choice between saving the settler scum or his dog, I'll take the dog, who didn't have a choice :)

  15. Is it possible to ban racists like the second commenter above from this site? I mean, at home we customarily deposit the garbage in the bin.

He used to be banned then we discovered that he's actually quite effective at undermining his own views with his psychopathic approach. It's a blessing.

Yup! Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't piss on a settler even if he was on fire I guess. Many people actually tend to agree on this. Their reputation is quite awful even among their own countrymen.
