    What he really thinks and what he says are two different things. You cannot hold a position like his and have anything but deceit brewing and lies coming out of your mouth. The only verdict you can come up with is self-deception is he truly believes what he is saying, and you cannot be self-deceiving unless you have been about deceiving people.
