They've come not to hail Betty

It was predictable that this diamond jubilee thing would tire long before it began to be a pleasure. One can hardly keep up with the folly. Apparently they’re prevailing on Boy Scout & Brownie troops around the realm as a rah rah chorus on Betty Windsor’s tour. This is a rally in Yeovil, England, which is a center of the aircraft & defense industries so it well may be a hot bed of Toryism. Yeovil is noted for its paleolithic ruins so regrettably, it may also be a hot bed of the living dead. Or is there no distinction between them?
