Exclusive: Britain: A 'safe haven' for war criminals

More than 50 people wanted for murder and torture living here free from prosecution, campaigners say
Record numbers of alleged mass murderers and torturers have found safe haven in the UK, making this country one of the war criminal capitals of the world, it is claimed today.
Among the war crimes suspects living in Britain are senior officials from the regime of Saddam Hussein, a member of the Criminal Investigations Department in Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe, and a Congolese police chief who confessed to a crime during a media interview.

  1. Why not? We have a government composed for the most part of politicians complicit in Blair's war crimes who are also defenders of the rogue state Israel. We have a main opposition party equally complicit; in fact its leader at the time cried, "Forget the UN, get stuck in right away!" We had a legislative assembly that gave Blair carte blanche.
War criminals should feel at home here. But peace activists  should tread carefully. They were labelled "terrorists" under the Blair rĂ©gime.

  2. I doubt this could be a consolation but Austarlia is no different. Antony Loewenstein made a post this week about the exact same issue. It seems this country too attracts war criminals. I need to find the article.
