Election 2012: Barack Obama 42%, Ron Paul 41%

Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

 1. Very early days for this sort of nonsense. A lot can happen in a year or two.

 4. I know, but I just cannot stand all of this. We just had an election last year and already they are talking up the next one! These characters spend far too much time and money on getting elected and maintaining their positions and not enough time governing and solving the problems of this country. The media and these polling businesses just hype all of this stuff ...they are just one big industry trying to manipulate public opinion.
