From the archives of the fight against apartheid
From the archives of the US Civil Rights Movement: the mug shot of Rosa Parks, taken December 1, 1955 after her arrest for defying US apartheid (called Jim Crow laws). Parks, who was a civil rights activist, lost her job as seamstress at a department store because of her action. She will be forever honored for her leadership & courage.
