A discovery. The Algerian Houria Aichi singing a tradional Algerian song


Born in the Aures, studiedy psychology in Paris in 1970 . Taught Sociology until she began performing in 1985, mostly traditional songs and lullabies accompanied by traditional instruments ( gasba , bendir ).
She recorded two albums in this vein ands also
participated in the soundtrack Tea in the Sahara of Bernardo Bertolucci (1990).

Her third album, Khalwa (retired mystic), realized with the collaboration of Henri Agnel , is devoted to sacred songs from Algeria, including dhikrs Sufis .
