Egypt arrests over 40 suspected smugglers to Gaza
AFP - Egyptian police have detained more than 40 people suspected of involvement in weapons smuggling to the Gaza Strip, a security official said on Tuesday.

The internet site 'Islam Online Net' reported that "a cell of Egyptian intelligence conducted a chase after Hamas operatives in the streets of Cairo". The report went on to say that "the cell stopped the car in which the Hamas members were riding and confiscated the money found in their possession – money intended for aid to the needy following the recent Israeli war in Gaza". The report said the amount confiscated was $7 million, meant for the reconstruction of homes lost during the fighting in Gaza. Egypt's Interior Ministry would neither confirm nor deny the arrests.

A prominent Islamist lawyer has told the Arabic news channel Al-Jazeera that security forces have detained about 50 Egyptians, Palestinians and Lebanese for alleged ties to the Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas.

    The "weapons" smuggled were actually cheese, and the Zionists don't like the Palestinians getting any protein. The confiscation of the money will give the elite several new homes. Finally, all of the individuals arrested for "ties to Hamas and Hezbollah, are just effective supporters of the Palestinians. That is the true interpretation of what Egypt has done.

    Yes and they are collaborating with those Israelis so that the Palestinians can not arm themselves and fight for there land.

    The Palestinians need more arms than ever before, and they need to employ them properly. Revolutionary paths of warfare need to be followed, brought into Israel itself, where what is dear to them - their "businesses" and particularly those of technology and weapons which are so profitable, need to be targeted, etc.

    There needs to be a joining of those split by artificial created by their enemies. That is - those "inside" Israel (because they are just last in line for the same treatment of those in Gaza and the West Bank), need to be linked with those in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and the diaspora to create pressure within and without. Unity is the watchword, and those who think they "have something" which causes them to hesitate in stronger resistance need to realize that in reality they have nothing that cannot be destroyed in a moment and that they will never have peace and prosperity for themselves or their progeny without fighting against these Zionist fascists.
