US nuclear team 'ready' in Pakistan

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh says the US has a rapid-response unit ready to secure Pakistan's nuclear weapons in the event of a mutiny or "any nuclear incident"

  1. Yeah right. Seymour Hersh is very naive and stupid. I sincerely doubt the US (or the Russians, Chinese, or Indians) could secure all of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal in an emergency.

Pakistan isn't sharing where a lot of their "national assets" are.

  3. I don't know as much about Hersh as them. But a lot of what Seymour writes is complete crap.

He wrote many times about an imminent attack on Iran. We all know know that this was complete nonsense fantasized inside Seymour's head.

He use to be good before though. He wrote one of the best articles on Afghanistan in 2001.

He wrote about how Cheney let Musharaf evacuate thousands of Pakistani Army, ISI, and Al Qaeda linked terrorists from Kunduz in November, 2001. Kunduz was completely surrounded by the valiant Northern Alliance at the time.

Afghans and GIs fumed about this at the time. They are still fuming. This is a major part of the problem Afghanistan is having today.

  4. I don't think he is foul intentioned like Anne Coulter and Cheney might be. Seymour strikes me as naive and possibly senile who use to be better back in the day.

  5. " ... valiant Northern Alliance ..."

Things are really desperate in the wilds of Anandistan. Can we arrange a parachute drop by Psychiatres sans Frontieres?
I hear a Steely Dan song, "Only a Fool Would Say That".
