The New 'Jihadi Code' Threatens Al Qaeda

"The code's most direct challenge to al Qaeda is this: "Jihad has ethics and morals because it is for God. That means it is forbidden to kill women, children, elderly people, priests, messengers, traders and the like. Betrayal is prohibited and it is vital to keep promises and treat prisoners of war in a good way. Standing by those ethics is what distinguishes Muslims' jihad from the wars of other nations."
The code has been circulated among some of the most respected religious scholars in the Middle East and has been given widespread backing. It is being debated by politicians in the U.S. and studied by western intelligence agencies."

  1. Muslim scholars know that Wahhabism is a heretical sect. Only the power and the wealth of the House of Saud keeps their lips sealed. Bin Ladin is a product of Wahhabism, truer to twisted teachings of ibn Wahhab than "the Hypocrites", to give the Saud clan their unofficial title.
Would that some honest journalist were able to approach the Saudi monarch and ask him if he agreed with this statement.

  2. TGIA, most muslims around the world detest the Takfiri extremists.

Have you noticed that in all of the last more than 20 public opinion polls of Afghans, more than 90% of Afghans had a negative view of the Taliban?

  3. Hah-HAH! The legendary 90%+ surveys - how I've missed them. And a 'takfiri' thrown in. You spoil us.

  4. Look them up on your own. Look up any of the public opinion surveys of Afghans since 2001. Look up all of them.

The Afghans will defeat the Taliban and the extremists in spite of their many European enemies.
