A Palestinan state: Not Willing to Wait

Palestinians and Israelis hold their collective breath as EU’s Solana calls for a deadline for Palestinian Statehood.

Speaking Saturday at a lecture in London, Solana said the UN Security Council should recognize a Palestinian state even if no peace accord had been reached between Israel and the Palestinians by a predetermined deadline.

  1. Will he be giving this lecture in New York or Washington soon?
What is a partial arms embargo, and how does it work? I'm guessing not at all.

  2. The "Israelis" did not go into fits when the UN declared them a nation, even as they were planning to totally dispossess the Palestinians. They are proud, the Israelis of their nations declaration, they are equally demonstrative about not fulfilling any of their obligations and responsibilities as a "nation."

The Israelis have had their "input" in a peace process they have turned with their supporters into a bogus joke, and now they are upset that they may be bypassed in the declaration of a Palestinian nation. The real issue is that they feel they have not stolen enough land, that they have not oppressd and wantonly murdered enough Palestinians. Paybak is a bitch in any form for the Israelis, because they have never thought that the Palestinians have the right to exist as a viable nation.
