"The Syrian regime headed by Bashar Assad is doomed in the long run, but is likely to last longer than most believe. In December, the leader of Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood stated that President Assad would fall “in the next few months”, the US State Department proclaimed Assad to be a “dead man walking”, and Israel’s defense minister insisted that Assad would fall in a matter of weeks. This has turned out to be wishful thinking."

  1. This is what exactly the enemies of Arabs want. They want you to kill each other especially killing your leaders who might be a threat to them. You all use the non arabic solution to the arabic problem. It will never stick because the only way to solve the arab problem is the arabic way. Why use the western ways? If you keep this up you will end up being arabic. you start killing your own leaders!

  3. What a dilemma! Washington wants the ally of Iran to go, Tel Aviv wants the cowardly Arab leader to stay. What will AIPAC, Washington's Middle East policy-maker decide?
