Ron Paul to Haaretz:
"I believe I’m the only candidate who would allow Israel to take immediate action to defend herself without having to get our approval." "I opposed President Obama’s attempt to dictate Israel’s borders this year." "I believe that Israel is one of our most important friends in the world."
And just before you jump in anan! Shut up!
ReplyDeleteRon Paul is not sympathetic to Palestine-he's an isolationist. A lot of posters on Mondoweiss are confused about this. His attitude toward all policy-domestic and foreign-is that if the government doesn't get involved-the side that should win will win. It is an extreme social darwinist world view-which is ironic for someone who has so much support among evangelicals.
ReplyDeleteI had no illusions Joer but it came as a bit of a surprise that he'd be, so quickly, kissing ass like the rest of the loathsome cohort. Thanks for insight, I'm not too familiar with this guy.
ReplyDelete...Paul wouldn't care if Israel blew up the entire Middle East, as long as America didn't have to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteAmerica should be best friends with as many countries as possible.
ReplyDeleteFrom an American point of view, why should the US take sides in Palestine/Israel. Both are great powers. If America takes one side, the other side will punish America. Isn't it better that America remain as neutral as possible? Purely from the perspective of American national interests of course. Try to be best friends with both Palestinians and Israelis? Not saying this is what America should do. But this arguement is out there. What is the correct rebuttal to it?

ReplyDeleteI donno..That you're talking from your ass again?
