A poem of Palestinian solidarity
This wonderful poem/anthem is by Indian poet, Musab Iqbal, a supporter of the Palestinians in their struggle for justice:
Tel Aviv airport
This is Tel Aviv airport
No passport, No visa, No stamp, No reason
You stand in queue until we ask you to
You have right to return but not to homeland
You have right to speak but inside your heart
You have the right to resent but inside your covers
This is Tel Aviv airport
No dignity, No citizenship, No freedom
You have no right to privacy, no right to ask
You have no right to move, no way to pass
You have no right to dream, no bed to sleep
You have no right to buy, no drink to bring
This is Tel Aviv airport
No chants of right, No esteem to other
You wait until your time comes
You wait until your time ends
You wait until the clock dies
You wait until there is no pride
This is Tel Aviv airport
Which has thrown me out, today
Which has despised my freedom, today
I will come here again with a free flag
I will come here again with a new flight
