ReplyDeleteIn this specific case, however, the journalist was just writing almost a diary of his experiences embedded with a US military unit. The book was never intended to be more than that.
Why don't more journalists embedd in the IA, IP, or the ANSF and provide a glimpse of the world from their perspective? Many Western journalists leave a lot to be desired.
