The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the occupied territories (OCHA) reported that Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes have doubled in 20111 comparing to the figures of 2010.OCHA reported that Israel demolished 409 Palestinian homes and structures during this year comparing to 290 in 2010, while 804 Palestinian were displaced this year comparing to 374 last year.
The report further indicated that 139 Palestinians were wounded in several attacks carried out by Israeli settlers since the beginning of this year until the date of this report, comparing to 74 Palestinians injured in similar attacks carried out by the settlers last year.
