Rally Rage: 'Israeli Tahrir' gears up for protest of 150,000
Israel is bracing itself for a fresh wave of massive anti-government protests. Activists are planning a third weekend of rallies across the country. One Tel Aviv street has already been renamed by some as 'Israeli Tahrir', after the square where the Egypt uprising took place.

Did anyone suggest the end of subsidies for the ultra-orthodox?
ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of the details but there's a post in Mondoweiss talking about embracing Palestinian demands. I'm kind of skeptical though. Israelis in general don't give a rodent's ass but it have slightly changed, not sure.
