Just over 85,000 Iraqis were killed in Iraq between 2004 and 2008, according to the first estimate from the Iraqi government since the war began.
It counts violent deaths of military, police and civilians, but does not include foreigners or insurgents.

Thank Allah the Iraqis defeated the scum of the earth and scattered their remnants to Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Somali and Pakistan. But too many Iraqis died to achieve this. Too many brave soldiers in the IA (Iraqi Army) and IP (Iraqi Police) died for this victory. About 15,000 in total. Too many deaths. Making victory bittersweet.
ReplyDeleteNow let us pray that Iraq rises to higher highs than ever before. In September, electricity production reached the highest level since the 1980s. Oil production and exports hit an all time high. Progress is coming. Let us hope this progress accelerates.
