If you're in favor of a ban on anan let me know. Personally I'm sick and tired of the nonsensical, outlandish and at times despicable comments like the one where he sees nothing wrong with a takeover of Aljazeera by a Zionist creep intent on tipping the balance in favor of an Israeli hawkish point of view, but I won't ban him without your consent.

  2. Much as I loathe the creature, his ridiculous comments, his non-sequiturs, his fictional polls, I can't bring myself to vote for a ban. I just wish he'd take his inanities elsewhere, but he seems to thrive on opprobrium.
I would try not falling for his provocation but I want that retraction.

  5. From that perspective, the Ostrom/Williamson prize may come at exactly the right time, since it shows that there are credible alternatives to the dueling poles of market and government. –Michael Mandel, BusinessWeek

  7. Well, first there was the silliness about fleming being banned and now this. Simply ignore or respond. What on earth is the big deal? If an exclusive club of only those who agree with a particular world view is what is wanted, then take the steps to make it so. It can be done. You can have registration and then Tgia can be like Horatius at the Bridge and keep the hordes of counter-revolutionary thinkers out!

That's B.S. and you know it. The prove is that TGIA by his own admission never even thought of banning you ..Remember his comment to you ?

  12. I am exaggerrating, VAA. I know that. iI think the world of Tgia. But there would be nothing wrong if you guys did want like minded people here. There are blogs that are exclusive. I am just saying either it is open or it is not. If it is open, resign yourself to the fact that some commenters will irritate you. Respond or ignore.

We've been doing both for 2 years now and the guy is getting more insane by the day. BTW, yesterday many expressed their frustration and I'm responding to that.
BTW, why should there be a  "next"? Besides, anan admitted once that he klikes to drive his friends insane with his bullshit. Couldn't he be doing just that over here?

I suppose he could be doing it on purpose but how would you know for sure?  PerhapsIt is better to be tolerant...as difficult as that might be!?

  18. Exactly my sentiments. Plus, I am not at all reluctant to admit that I like everybody here. We are an oddball collection and I think it works in a quirky sort of way.
