Question for everyone. Michael Totten is suggesting that we should read: http://www.city-journal.org/2009/19_3_jewish-capitalism.html It is about Israel's high tech economy. Many people around the world admire and like Israel primarily because of the Israeli tech sector. This is the real reason, for example, why Israel might be Russia's closest ally, as well as India's closest alliy.
If I were to argue with someone in China or Japan to pressure Israel (both are close Israeli allies), their likely response would be that they shouldn't because Israel's a successful technology hub.
What should Palestine's response be to this line of arguement? Please understand that this is not a facetious question, but an authentic one.
Any thoughts? How can Palestine persuade the international community to pressure Israel?
This photo is the sombre reality of the afghans , an elderly man sobbing may be because he lost a child a granddaughter may be the whole village. I have a theory of who's guilty.
Say what you want about Angelina (and she's had her flaky moments) she takes her responsibilities as the UN Goodwill Ambassador very seriously. Last year I heard her speak about Iraqi refugees and she was very moving. I think she and Brad Pitt both have a real sense of wanting to "give back"--e.g., his housing initiative in New Orleans, her work with refugees--that speaks well of them. They make mistakes and do stupid vacuous things like everybody else but on the whole I give them credit for at least trying.
And anand, nobody with a lick of sense is going to read any spewings by that half-wit Totten, so please peddle it elsewhere.
Ok, I learned a little more about it. Angelina was visiting an Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan.
ReplyDeleteI heard She and Brad were in Syria visiting Iraqi refugees.
ReplyDeleteAngeline is the Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency.

She could put her efforts into other vacuous causes but she does not, I consider this positive.
