Tear gas is chemical warfare against democratic rights

This protester in Cairo, Egypt is being treated for tear gas inhalation by a triage unit. Tear gas is called non-lethal by those who use language to deceive.Throwing toxic chemicals that burn the skin, cause blindness & respiratory problems, & may have long-term health effects is not non-lethal. It is a health hazard & chemical warfare against the democratic rights of assembly & free speech & we should demand it’s use be banned. (Photo by Ed Giles)
