Flooding in northern India

We know all about the prom gowns at the Emmy award show last night but so little about the flooding in Assam & other states in northern India which inundated nearly 2,000 villages & displaced over 1.5 million people. Last June, flooding in the same area affected nearly 2 million people, inundating more than 2,080 villages & washing away thousands of homes mostly made of bamboo & straw, as well as roads, bridges & power lines. Here children pole a raft in a village in Assam where at least 15 people have died. So good to know US media has its priorities straight.
