Bill for Afghan War Could Run Into the Trillions

"Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz and Harvard professor Linda Bilmes estimated that the long-term costs – taking into account the costs of taking care of wounded soldiers and rebuilding the military – of the war in Iraq will ultimately be $3 trillion."

  1. TGIA, I think the Afghans only need $300 billion in grants over 20 years.

$10 billion a year for the ANSF and $5 billion a year for economic development.

With this the Afghans can over many years defeat the Takfiri extremists that threaten the whole world.
