US-NATO troops out of Afghanistan!

Emancipation US-style: an “internally displaced” Afghan child at a refugee camp in Kabul (Dec 2012) when temperatures were 1 degree Celsius/34 degrees Fahrenheit. Despite billions of aid money to NGOs & the Afghan government, over 100 children died last year from the frigid winter cold. What will be the slaughter this year? Though we’re sure those children died heartened by the knowledge their sacrifice was for the greater good of imperialism & colonialism.

Like with everything it does, the UN quibbles over legal definitions of an internally  displaced person. (They like to have niceties in place before they render aid.) They haven’t determined one yet for a displaced person though they do have a “guiding principle”. According to the UN, a person becomes an internally displaced person when “as a result of or in order to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violations of human rights or natural or human-made disasters” they have been forced to vacate their home but “have not crossed an internationally recognized State border.” And still no denunciations, sanctions, or resolutions against the US-NATO occupation of Afghanistan!? US-NATO out of Afghanistan! We demand the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all US-NATO troops!  (Photo by Musadeq Sadeq/AP)
