-- Zionist Aspirations in Palestine, by H. Anstruther Mackay (Military Governor of Ramleh, Palestine); The Atlantic Monthly, July 1920.

Someone who already in 1920 knew that creating Israel was a bad idea
"The theory that the Jews are to come into Palestine and oust the Moslem cultivators by 'equitable purchase' or other means is in violation of principles of sound policy, and would, if accepted, arouse violent outbreaks against the Jewish minority. It would, moreover, arouse fierce Moslem hostility and fanaticism against the Western powers that permitted it. The effect of this hostility would be felt all through the Middle East, and would cause trouble in Syria, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and India. To this might be ascribed by future historians the outbreak of a great war between the white and the brown races, a war into which America would without doubt be drawn."

TGIA, when it comes to the actual planning stages of transferring out the Palestinians, those were devised by Herzl as early as 1895 but at the time, he wesn't sure if the promised land would be Argentina or Palestine. Sadly for the Palestinians, by 1901, he had made up his mind on Palestine and concluded an agreement with the Turkish Sultan to allow for the colonization of the area by Jews in exchange for money for the Sultan. The transfer plan of 1895 was then set in motion.
ReplyDeleteWe keep getting told that the whole thing started at around the time the holocaust but this was not true; it started in 1895 long before there were any Nazis around.
For the long sordid history of Zionist plans to transfer the Palestinians (on several occasions) to Iraq with the cooperation of Arab states and several links to details of this over several decades, from an anti-Zionist rabbi, Chaim Simons living of all places on the West Bank; a very interesting website if you go to the home page:

ReplyDelete

But one thing never ceases to puzzle me : What is the future for the Zionist state ? from their prospective , it has always being clear the occupation is unsustainable , and the end of the American empire is unavoidable ( Nemesis and the end of the American republic by Chalmers Johnson ).

Israel will then become the black cheep , it's seems to me that peace will be the only way out , and yet the resist it like the plague , any thoughts ?

ReplyDeleteAn Experiment In Fascism
ReplyDeleteI swear by God this holy oath, that I want to offer unconditional obedience to the Fuhrer of the German Empire and people, Adolf Hitler, the commander-in-chief of the Wehrmacht, and be prepared as a brave soldier to risk my life for this oath at any time.
I swear by Hashem [the Jewish God] that I want to offer unconditional loyalty to the Jewish state of Israel, to its leaders and the commanders of its Jewish army. I am prepared as a loyal supporter of the Jewish state to risk my life for this oath at any time.

Guess who has been harboring a terrorist responsible for downing a civilian airliner full of innocent men, women and children in order to make a political point against an alleged 'empire of evil'? No, I'm not talking about Afghanistan harboring Osama bin Laden.
ReplyDeleteThis example is closer to home.
