Can someone tell me why a Jew has to march under an Israeli flag? Are they, implicitly and explicitly, sending the message that Jews, all Jews, are also responsible for over 62 years of Israeli Zionist crimes? Well, they are..(sending the message that is)

  1. The article's title in Haaretz is very misleading and plays right into the Jewish persecution thing and the whole world is antisemitic mumbo-jumbo.

Had Italy said that any and all flags with excception to Israel's would be permitted, Jews would have had grounds to be really upset but in this instance, but Italy had already forbidden all foreign flags so it wasn't targetting Israel and Jews as the Haaretz story is implying. Jewish fans simply have to go to the game wearing white t-shirts or sweaters with the star of David prominantly displayed or all wearing kippas to signal a massive Jewish presence at the game. But here, we see that Israel-lovers prefer raising a self-pittying stink to taking a simple solution that would not have contravened Italian laws.
