Israeli newspapers this summer are filled with angry articles about the push for an international boycott of Israel. Films have been withdrawn from Israeli film festivals, Leonard Cohen is under fire around the world for his decision to perform in Tel Aviv, and Oxfam has severed ties with a celebrity spokesperson, a British actress who also endorses cosmetics produced in the occupied territories. Clearly, the campaign to use the kind of tactics that helped put an end to the practice of apartheid in South Africa is gaining many followers around the world.

nice, except for the "change the geographic realities on the ground"? i guess first off you have to hand over the most fertile land where 250,000 settlers live on the WB and where the major aquifers are located and give Palestinians the rest. in exchange for what? anyway, there is no point in "negotiating" with a government whose ideology is that no Palestinian has any right to any part of Palestine.
ReplyDeleteI really doubt that Neve cares which way it ends, as long as it stops. However, if you read the summation of his writings you find he stands for nothing but full rights and freedom of the Palestinians.

ReplyDeleteThey want to deprive all Israelis of their rights and freedom.
So they suffer the consequences of their own actions.
