U.S. Republicans submit resolution supporting Israel's right to annex West Bank

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) introduces House resolution that supports annexation if the Palestinian Authority continues to push for UN vote.

U.S. Representative Joe Walsh (R-IL), introduced on Monday a resolution (with 30 co-sponsors) to support Israel’s right to annex the West Bank in the event that the Palestinian Authority continues to push for vote at the United Nations.

“We’ve got what I consider to be a potential slap in the face coming up with the vote in the UN, which is absolutely outrageous,” Walsh told Politico website last July.

I wonder if those asses thought trhough what should be done to the Palestinians there. I doubt they did unless transfer is what they have in mind. Otherwise it's the dreaded (by Israel) one-state solution!

  1. <span>"I wonder if those asses thought through  ..."</span>
<span>They thought about the bribes - thinking discontinued.</span>

  2. TGIA, they aren't asses. They hardly know anything about Palestine and Israel. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

PS. Often legislatures vote the way powerful lobbies advise them even though they have little to no idea what they are voting about.

  3. Trust me, they're asses.

Can you not see the Christian-Zionist arrogance in this resolution?

This is the type of positioning that would be more appropriate to air as an opinion at your workplace (unless its an elected body of representatives, such as here.)

It belongs with the views like "we should just drop a bomb over there (middle east, unspecified) after they came over here and did that" (9-11.)  You've surely heard that type of rationale if you live in the US.  It ranks up there, in my opinion, with a high school classmate saying long ago when seeing a photo of African-Americans protesting: "I'd like to drop a bomb right there."

Lastly, what do you think Israel would do if the US did give it a green light to annex?  Look what they're doing allready.  This is very serious as it gives the correct impression to Israel that a sizable portion of our officials are okay with letting Israel get away with murder.  And it shows the importance of keeping the Rick Perrys and Michelle Bachmanns out of the White House.
