Culture and mental illness

  1. One mental illness specific  to Japan is a withdrawl syndrome when kids who are extremely stressed out by the pressure to perform in schools lock themselves in their rooms, refuse to see or to talk to anyone for months. This syndrome has a Japanese name but I forgot it.
