Colin Powell Rejects Dick Cheney's Claims, Says U.S. Is Not Less Safe Under Obama

Dick Cheney's charges that the country is less safe because of the way Barack Obama has handled national security matters don't hold water, former Secretary of State Colin Powell said Sunday. "To suggest that somehow we have become much less safer because of the actions of the administration, I don't think that's borne out by the facts," Powell said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

  1. Both Powell and Cheney are discredited warmongers and war criminals who should be shunned by polite society. For that matter, so is Obama, who is preparing to invade Iran even as we speak. Nobody should give a flying damn what any of them think or allow them any say in "national security."

  2. Obama's trying to form an alliance with Iran. PM Singh said during his visit to Washington that the Iranians assured him they were optimistic about US/Iranian relations and were close to a deal with the IAEA/international community/UN/EU/US on the nuclear issue.

    Hope the Messiah succeeds.
