Palestinians 'seriously considering' one-state

"A majority of the Palestinian leaders with whom we met are seriously considering acceptance of one state, between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea," Carter wrote in an op-ed piece in The Washington Post.

"By renouncing the dream of an independent Palestine, they would become fellow citizens with their Jewish neighbors and then demand equal rights within a democracy," he explained. "In this non-violent civil rights struggle, their examples would be Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela."

  1. this is the only solution. unless Palestinians want the "state" described in Obama's plan, which is just a continuation of the nightmare occupation. they wouldn't accept that for long. this occupation is a total nightmare. i don't know how they deal with it. the checkpoints are incredible to irritate the hell out of me! sometimes there won't even be a checkpoint, and soldiers will just stop the bus and check everyone's ID. and they're so rude. really they are such assholes.

  2. anyway, i should also add that the post zionist state here will be a really awesome place to visit. the sights in East jerusalem are stunning. I see why they want it so bad.

  3. Who here supports a one state solution? A two state solution?

  4. What does that mean they will accept a one state solution?

How will they get Israel to accept a one state solution?

  5. i hope their store/restaurant owners will also consider holding regular hours. I can't count the number of times I've walked somewhere starving (like right now) or dying for a diet coke only to leave emptyhanded. (pout)

  7. At this juncture no one really gives a flying fuck what Israel accepts or rejects, with all of their disingenuous lying and stealing as they enter "good faith" negotiations. You even have UN officials saying screw Israel, start without them - they are becoming insignificant because of their deceptives and deadly practices. The US is also a bad faith "negotiator," and soon to be pauper without a remedy.

  8. Do you drink "Killer Cola", Yasmin? Think of all those murdered Colombian trade unionists.
Someone started marketing a cola for people wanting to boycott that stuff, and part of the profits went to the Palestinians - Qudsi Cola, or something like that. Is it still being produced?

If that really happen, then it is the end of Palestine and Palestinians:

    1. Would the country be named "Palestine"; Israelis living with the Arabs, or "Israel"; Arabs living with Israelis? Or "Israline", or "Palesrael"?

    2. Will the Arabs succeed in demanding equal rights within a democracy? What democracy in a country that discriminate between the Ashkenazim masters and the Jewish Arabs and Falasha slaves? Give me a fucking break.

    3. The leopard can not change its skin. Hate, deceit, decadency, is the "aqua vitae" of the Zionist states.

It ain't gonna happen, and the Palestinians will be stupid to think of it, unless they opt to sell out after all the blood shed.

If it happens, then the Palestinian cause is dead, and that is what Israel wants. It won't be uprooted people against occupation any more, but Palestinian citizens oppressed by Jewish citizens; i.e. and internal issue, which could be argued as no concern of foreign countries, but a bunch of lame human rights groups.
