The Telegraph of London broke the news - because the US press is in a drugged stupor -- that the photos Obama is refusing to release of detainee abuse depict, among other sexual tortures, an American soldier raping a female detainee and a male translator raping a male prisoner. The paper claims the photos also show anal rape of prisoners with foreign objects such as wires and lightsticks. Major General Antonio Taguba calls the images `horrific' and `indecent' (but absurdly agrees that Obama should not release them - proving once again that the definition of hypocrisy is the assertion that the truth is in poor taste).

They have been released. They have been released to the proper authorities and investigative bodies. There is no point in publishing those photos EXCEPT to inflame. Those crying for the release are the biggest hypocrites of all and have an agenda that is NOT out of concern for victims of torture but for their own ideological or political purposes. They claim they are doing it for the noble reason of TRUTH. Bull. The one and only goal is to hurt the U.S. and the thousands of soldiers. who did nothing wrong. A written description of what takes place in the photos is all that is needed for the public. I do not need to see a rape victim to be horrified and to condemn what was allowed.
ReplyDeleteI can just hear the howls if we started showing, on a regular basis, what the scum terrorists actually do to their victims. Yes, big graphic pictures. You would all be screaming bloody murder about us trying to inflame anti-Muslim sentiments and a reason for war. Let us show the Assyrian kid crucified and left in the road for his family to find. Or the raped and murdered nun. Or the drilled eyesockets of the poor souls who made the mistake of being on the wrong side of the noble "resistance".
