I just saw The Girlfriend Experience, which examines the life of a high class call girl. I can't decide whether it's a tedious film about shallow people or whether it's an insightful look at banality and materialism. In any case, there was a scene in it I thought I'd mention here. The beautiful call girl goes to one of her cliets who is an Orthodex Jew diamond merchant. The two go into the back room of his shop and as they are undressing, he tells her, "Make sure you vote for McCain. It's very important that the state of Israel survives." He then dry humps her in his underwear and has his moment of climax while they are standing there.

Yeah, really. Plus, it was the final scene to show the humiliation that was behind the facade of her high expense lifestyle.

Concerning The Girlfriend Experience, it is an interesting look at American culture in 2008-2009. But it has a lot of flawa, including that it's pretty boring and non of the charactors are interesting or sympathetic.
