"Settlements Debate Heats Up"...

Phil Zabriskie may have a point! (Hehe)

"This is getting really interesting. Yesterday, American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton uttered some of the most forceful words against Israel’s settlement policy heard from an American official in quite some time, saying of President Obama:

“He wants to see a stop to settlements — not some settlements, not outposts, not ‘natural growth’ exceptions.”

And Israeli officials said, artfully, that it’s not going to happen. Quoth the AP:

"Government spokesman Mark Regev responded by saying “normal life in those communities must be allowed to continue.” He confirmed that this meant some construction will continue in existing settlements.

I donno! I'd still say " Show me the money!"

  4. Even imperialists are getting fed up with Israel's shameful crap. But let me make an educated guess: the crisis with North Korea will obscure any attempt to shine the light of truth upon the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. And probably a little war with Iran is not completelly out of the table. Israel is beginning to feel cornered, that's when they are more dangerous than usual. Let's stay put folks, I can detect that war is in the air.

  5. Perhaps there will be "mitigating circumstances" which causes the issue to be put on the back burner...

  6. At any rate, an intetesting tone is being set if there is a military confrontation between the United States and Israel like there was in Lebanon in the early eighties, or if there is another "incident" like there was the USS Liberty.

  7. With 500,000 Jews over the so-called "Green Line" and growing, that`s just the way it is- and will be.

Jews lived in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza for thousands of years. Just because the Arabs ethnically cleansed all Jews in 1948 (1929 from Hebron, Gaza, parts of Jerusalem, etc.) doesn`t give them a "right" to keep these areas Judenrein now.

If the Arabs ***need*** to live Jew-free lives, they`ll just have to do it elsewhere- in their own lands. We won`t allow that here in ours.
