First of all, wonderful news for the Tunisian people. I hope it all turns out well for them and their lives are improved.
ReplyDeleteThis does put paid to the notion...or should I say EXCUSE... that the United States' alliances with such dictators prevented mass uprisings.
So now Mohammed Ghannouchi, who was part of the corrupt élite, is to meet other politicians, to form a 'new' government. Meanwhile the people who got rid of Bin Ali are being shot and tear-gassed on the street. Plus ça change ... <span>
