Robert Fisk - Obama is a disaster for the Middle East

    Where is the "new beginning" that Obama spoke of in Cairo? Obama claims good will and tolerance towards Muslims while US occupation forces commit yet more crimes and intensify their practices against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. They violate their legal rights and mercilessly martyr them to defend their rights. They put them in the most hateful prisons of the world. Given these wild and illegal actions by Americans, Obama's baseless speech has no importance.

    I think , i was fooled by Obama from the very beginning , look what Fisk said , he's worse than Bush , since he utters sweet words and does otherwise , unlike the Neo-Nazi Bush who was quite frank , the problem is that most naive Muslims cheered up for the speech Obama gave in Cairo , especially when he spoke out words like alsalamu alikom , blah blah , now Obama is deploying 30,000 additional military personels to Afghanistan , in the name of the war on terrorism _ although i affirm US's rights to defend herself against terrorists _ but that's how it ends up , more civilians are gonna lose their life there , Obama also is so reluctant in the regard to the Palestinian state , he's totally passive .
