It rained on our "parade"

A sign of changing times and a first for me ( and for many)in this country. A rainy and rather " cold" Christmas. Not exactly a northern hemisphere Christmas but one should understand that down under it's summer and temperatures can be anything from 30c to 40 c and the celebration is usually a barbecue in the backyard and the de rigueur outfit is mostly shorts and T shirts. We had a little 20+ and not being prepared (the day started clear with reasonable temperatures) half way through with rain starting to fall and temperatures dropping significantly, we had to run into the host's household searching for something to wear atop. All I could manage was a silly looking black(!) cape(?)..but you know what? I didn't care...Not only Jesus does miracles people, champagne too.
