Justice as an ethnic cleansing tool..

The heart wrenching story of the Sheikh Jarrah family who lost their home to the colonists by court decision
‘We sought international pressure to stop expulsions of Palestinians. We failed.’
"We were refugees from Haifa in 1948. Everyone in this neighborhood is a refugee, some from Lydda and Ramla, some from Jaffa. After the 1948 war, the Jordanian government gave us these plots of land to build on, in exchange for our UNRWA cards. The cards were worth a lot of money, but we wanted to live normal lives in our own houses, so we gave up our status as refugees. We have lived in this home since the 1950’s. The Israeli settlers claim the land belongs to the Jews and they went to court, for years we were in the courts. But this is my house, it is our home, I built the annex in the front and planted the fruit trees. Now the court has ordered the annex to be sealed off and they forced us out. Settlers came with the soldiers in the night and started throwing our possessions outside, just like that, and they hit us, one of them grabbed my daughter by the throat and tried to strangle her. They are very violent. We cannot live with them. They hurt us and they insult us and they are thieves and the soldiers help them. The court has left us, for now, with the back part of the house; the front is locked and sealed. On Sunday the court will decide finally. I don’t believe they will force us to leave. I don’t believe they can be so unjust. Come meet my mother, she will tell you."
Then on Sunday the court ruled in favor of the settlers, and they moved in immediately with the soldiers to back them up, as is normal in East Jerusalem these days. That’s how the lego and the stuffed animals landed up in the courtyard.

  1. The settlers, through what is called the Sephardic Community Committee, have produced documents to support their claim that these plots of land belonged to Jews during the Ottoman period, over a century ago. Ergo, they must be restored to Jewish hands (like all the rest of Palestine? And what about the hundreds of Palestinian houses in West Jerusalem now inhabited by Jews? No Israeli court is about to return them to their original owners.).

Forged documents! The settlers have been producing fake  documents for quite somme time now..It's a well estabilshed fact that no more than 5% of Israel has been effectively bought and that was only in the lead to the establishment of the Israeli state and those lands never passed to Palestinian hands after their purchase..! The settlers are beyond despicable for their lies but their tactics work because of the licit and illict support of the judicial system.

  3. It's all a scam..The project, the ethnic cleansing, is no more a camouflaged operation. It's out there in the daylight whatever the name they give, natural growth,  judeosiation or changing the demographics are just plain classic ethnic cleansing more than condoned, MASTERMINDED, orchestrated and conducted by the collective Israeli institutions.

  5. <span>Really despicable, but what about the court cases that have ruled in favor of Palestinians? I know I have read about them, too! Perhaps it is not so much an orchestrated plan as a plan pushed by its adherents within the system?</span>

"Officials in Turkey traced the documents the lawyers requested and provided affidavits that the settlers' land claims were forged. The search of the Ottoman archives, Mr Abu Ahmad said, had failed to locate any title deeds belonging to a Jewish group for the land in Sheikh Jarrah.
"Turkish officials have also told us that in future they will assist us whenever we need help and that they are ready to trace similar documents relating to other cases," Mr Abu Ahmad said. "They even asked us if there were other documents we were looking for."</span>

  7. <span>And even if it were remotely true that the land belonged to Jews, this family has been living in this house since 1950, if they have to cede it, shouldn't they be found another accommodation instead of being  disposed of like a garbage bag ? What kind of human beings are those folks?</span>

Only yesterday I made a post about the justice minister of Israel ( Jewish Sharia) who's a far right religious freak. He's an authority that dictates the general outcomes of court cases especially when they're related to land ownership. Netanyahu's govt. is accelerating the dispossession process in order to create irreversible facts on the ground in anticipation to a probable peace deal where they could be pushed to evacuate or cede any territory.. Those famous facts on the ground have already achieved the goal of destroying the hopes of a two state solution. Israel is banking on a long term achievable outcome of slowly ridding the OT of their inhabitants when the demographics are no longer an issue. Their view is simple. No two states but no one state either. It's all for the Jews.. How could you still doubts about this?. Am I the only one who can clearly this unfolding?

  9. How about returning those homes to their owners?  Maybe they do still exist with the thieves still living in..

  10. See now the sheer ugliness of the new houses compared to the old ones in the last picture.
